  43. Get with the program... This is 96... That was the case with windows
  44. 3.1. This dosn't happen with windows 95 with Office 95.
  45. Our NT server has been up now 9 months without a SINGLE crash. My
  46. windows 95 laptop (where I am typing now) stays up and hasn't been
  47. shut down for 1 month (last time was to change drivers for PCMCIA
  48. ethernet card). I just close the lid and it goes into suspend mode.
  49. Then open the lid its up in about 15 SECONDS... Hows that for
  50. uptime... Which Amiga can do that... PS: I use OFFICE 95, ACCESS 95
  51. BETA (YES a BETA PROGRAM), INTERNET, NETWORK, PROGRAMMING C++ & VB 4.0
  52. Pro. Testing tonnes of Shareware and PD software... There couldn't be
  53. more stuff thrown at the machines...

  55. I wish Amiga BIGOTS would stop hiding behind a shroud and start being
  56. constructive. (I bet they arnt really Amiga owner only saboteurs)

  58. Without Memory protection Amiga will only be a hobbyist or CHEAP home
  59. computer. Thats ok if you are selling A500/600/1200 with no FAST RAM
  60. AND NO HD. But for serious users ie A3000/4000 and PPC who do more
  61. than play games or wordprocess with FW we WANT and DEMAND MEMORY
  62. PROTECTION from Amiga Tech. If it doesnt happen then there wont be
  63. serious software for the Amiga... EVER!

  65. SO AMIGA TECH. IF YOU DONT PUT MEMORY PROTECTION AND VIRTUAL MEMORY IN
  66. THE OS FOR PPC YOU CAN BET YOUR LAST DOLLAR (and it will be as you
  67. loose sales) THAT I AND MANY OTHER SERIOUS USERS WILL PUT OUR MONEY
  68. INTO OTHER MACHINES... AFTER ALL LIGHTWAVE IS NOW AVAILABLE ON OTHER
  69. PLATFORMS BEFORE THE AMIGA PORT... WAKE UP!!!!
